Background and Discussion:

Creel Country Estates is in the Spring Gully and Goose Creek watershed and in Precinct 2 in eastern Harris County. This project site is generally bounded by E Wallisville Road to the north, residential development to the west and east, and O207-01-00 to the south. Creel Country Estates is in unshaded Zone X. Portions of the existing water and wastewater systems on Lyndale Dr, Bonnieville Dr, and Cindyrella Dr need to be relocated due to utility conflicts. The scope of services includes the design of approximately 1,620 linear feet of wastewater and 1,000 linear feet of water lines. Additionally, the scope includes time spent reviewing utility conflicts and resolution options, preparing cost estimates, and meeting with the County and the Water Control & Improvement District to prepare this proposal.

Expected Impact:

This project seeks to strengthen resiliency in Harris County by assisting in the alleviation of structural flood damage to homes in the Creel Country Subdivision. The additional scope in services allows the project design to progress forward and alleviate utility impacts in the proposed design.

Alternative Options:

The County could elect to fund the requested task or choose to reject it. However, if not approved, the project cannot be constructed.
