Background and Discussion:
The project will be adding a left turn lane and a right turn lane at the intersection with interstate highway 10 service road. It will also add vehicle storage space to an existing left turn lane as well as upgrading pedestrian ramps and pedestrian audible push buttons. The service road is within TxDOT Right-of-Way and a Local On-System Agreement is required for construction. An agreement was already approved on September 19, 2023, but TxDOT updated their agreement forms, and we must resubmit for approval.

Expected Impact:
The project seeks to improve traffic operations at the intersection. The project also seeks to upgrade the existing pedestrian facilities to improve pedestrian mobility. The approval of this Local On-System Agreement will allow for the County to construct the improvements of the project.

Not approving this Local On-System Agreement, which will prohibit construction of the project improvements. Not being able to construct...
