Background and Discussion:
The County wishes to engage Agha Engineering, LLC to conduct the design of hike and bike trails that extend from the southwest corner ramp at East X Street and Battleground Road, to East P Street of pedestrian improvements to the City of Deer Park. This project is a partnership with the City of Deer Park awarded from the 2023 Precinct 2 Partnership program. The Goal of the project is to enhance pedestrian mobility creating a pedestrian-friendly environment by improving overall pedestrian access. This project will also allow the city to continue the Master Plan and connect to the La Porte and Bay Area Hike and Bike Trail Systems.

Expected Impact:
The project will improve mobility for residents and pedestrians.
