Background and Discussion:
Harris County Peden Building is a complete renovation located at 600 North San Jacinto Street, modernization of three hydraulic passenger elevators and installation of new floodproofing. This change in contract entails costs and credits required to finish the project.

Expected Impact:
This Change Order covers final changes required due to existing conditions, and credits back from the general contractor for the work that is being transferred to the Projects Group. Such credit items to be taken care of by the Projects Group include elevator cab #2, access controls and security that was completed by Universal Services, and some finishes that need to be installed after transaction windows are completed. Some of the final changes needed due to existing conditions include fire sprinkler deficiencies, thermostat relocation necessitated by furniture, and repairing existing window flashings to stop leaks.

Viable alternative options for this change order would be to allow DivisionOne to complete the items we're getting a credit back for, however the Projects Group that is taking over the work is able to work at a faster pace due to few...
