Background and Discussion:

The purpose of this project is to maximize the detention volume prior to a significant rainfall event by reducing the initial water surface elevation. It includes installation of three 12 foot by 12 foot vaults, a 10 foot by 32 foot vault, new solar panel array support, electrical vault, extension to existing asphaltic concrete trail, and concrete slope lining. Terracon Consultants, Inc. will provide construction materials testing services to support the project in construction.

Expected Impact:

This agreement will allow the firm to conduct field and laboratory testing on soil, concrete, asphalt and various other construction materials to ensure the material's compliance with Harris County Engineering Department's adopted standards and specifications as required by state law.
