Background and Discussion:

On October 31, 2023, Commissioners Court approved IGA’s reorganization plan. The approved plan created by IGA in collaboration with OCA resulted in three new positions and the reclassification of two existing positions. Funding for the position changes was approved by Commissioners Court on September 12, 2023, as an order to reserve funding to implement the proposed restructuring that has since been approved.

 

Attached are the Form 3441’s for the five referenced positions after IGA’s collaboration with OCA, OMB, and HRRM.

 

Expected Impact:

 

Implementing the approved reorganization plan will allow IGA to preserve and enhance its effectiveness in advancing Commissioners Court and the County’s legislative priorities and securing additional funding for the County.
