Background and Discussion:
The Arbor Oaks Stormwater Detention Basin is a proposed regional flood risk reduction project in the White Oak Bayou watershed. Arbor Oaks is a former residential subdivision that became the project site when the Flood Control District completed buy-outs of the homes within the neighborhood. The agreement will provide for the safe removal of certain facilities that were servicing the removed subdivision homes. This will allow for safe stormwater basin construction to proceed. Once the facilities are removed, the Flood Control District will receive a Letter of No Objection (LONO) to comply with the City of Houston requirements of abandonment of the subdivision streets. The prioritization framework score for this project is 4.60 and occurs in the 3rd quartile under the 2022 Prioritization Framework approved by Commissioners Court.

Expected Impact:
Upon execution of the utility adjustment agreement, the utility will execute removal of the facilities that will allow for the safe construction of the project stormwater basins.
