Background and Discussion:
This grant provides funding to state, local and private-sector partners to help protect critical port infrastructure from terrorism, enhance maritime domain awareness, improve port-wide maritime security risk management, and maintain or reestablish maritime security mitigation protocols that support port recovery and resiliency capabilities. On May 10, 2022, and on September 13, 2022, the Court approved extensions of this grant. This request will put funding towards that grant extension.
Expected Impact:
The $50,000.00 will help cover salary and other expenses for this extension through 8/31/2023.
