Background and Discussion:
Harris Health System is a fully integrated healthcare system that cares for all residents of Harris County, Texas. We are the first accredited healthcare institution in Harris County to be designated as a Medical Home and one of the largest in the country. Our system includes: Ben Taub Hospital (Est. 1963), Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital (Est. 1989), and Outpatient/ Ambulatory care services.
The term to begin July 1, 2023 to allow the existing board to conduct board business without interruptions and to ensure a smooth transition.
