Background and Discussion:

 

Design and construction of a 5' wide concrete sidewalk along 4 segments:

- North side of Park Row from Price Plaza to Fry Road

- West side of Price Plaza from IH 10 to Park Row

- East side of Snake River Road from park Row to about 800' north of Park Row

- South side of Park Row from Price Plaza to Fry Road

 

Along the sidewalks include wheelchair ramps at all public street intersections, sloped driveways and retaining walls, where grade behind the curb is steep. Driveways that do not meet Harris County's or TDLR's rules and regulations are to be removed and replaced with proper slopes.

 

Expected Impact:

The agreement will allow us to move forward with TxDOT permitting process therefore allows us to construct the proposed sidewalk within TxDOT limit.

 

Alternative Options:

The alternative option would be not to construct sidewalk within TxDOT limit.
