Background and Discussion:
The Northpointe Blvd Segment 2 Capital Improvement Project (the Project) will widen the existing 2-lane concrete to 4-lane concrete boulevard of Northpointe Blvd, from Northpointe Ridge Lane to Northpointe Terrace Drive, with new drainage facilities.

The Project will result in drainage flowing to a detention pond owned and maintained by the Northpointe Water Control and Improvement District (the District), to ultimately outfall into the Faulkey Gully Cypress Creek (K142-00-00).

This agreement will allow Harris County runoff to convey through the District's facilities.

Expected Impact:
This project will improve mobility and safety for road users and flood resiliency for the adjacent properties.

Alternative Options:
Alternative options would be to divert the drainage runoff resulting in substantial increases in engineering design, property acquisition and construction costs.
