Background and Discussion:

The HCSO K-9 Demonstration will be open to all Girl Scout troops and their leaders. The girls will learn how law enforcement utilizes the dogs to locate suspects and apprehend them peacefully, while keeping law enforcement safe and out of harm’s way. The HCSO K-9 Deputy Demonstration also contributes to the Girl Scout Cadettes earning an Animal Helpers badge.  After the demonstration, request to provide food and beverages. Rails & Tails Crawfish food tent will offer concessions arranging from $2 to $5 each and bottled water for $1 and sodas for $2 each. Food service will be provided at cost and not for profit.
