Background and Discussion:

The Criminal Justice Center Restoration, Mitigation, and Improvement project includes restoration of the existing Criminal Justice Center and repairing damage resulting from Hurricane Harvey (August 2017), implementing flood mitigation measures to prevent damage during future disasters, and improving building and occupant functions, including horizontal and vertical circulation, security, building fire and safety requirements, and staff augmentation needs. This amendment entails electrical design changes due to existing field conditions requiring 212 additional calendar days.
