Background and Discussion:

On December 19, 2017, the County entered into an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with METRO pursuant to which Harris County provides tolling service on all segments of the METRO EXPRESS (HOV/HOT) Lane Systems that are open to the traveling public in Harris County, Texas.  The ILA was amended on September 14, 2021 to provide toll violation collection services on behalf of METRO, and now desire to amend the ILA a second time to provide additional operation and maintenance services for the Automated Reversible Gate Operation (ARGO) System, and camera/video verification subsystem, and software upgrade on behalf of METRO.

 

Expected Impact:

Per the agreement, METRO will reimburse the Toll Road Authority for services provided.
