Background and Discussion:

Professional Services needed (design, engineering, and other pre-construction expenses) related to state/federal environmental and cultural/historical requirements needed to access the feasibility of constructing the Edgewater Park Boat Launch located at Hamblen Road near US 59, Harris County, Texas, Precinct 3.

 

Expected Impact:

The addition of this project will provide a safe and established boat launch location, an additional park for the growing community in the Kingwood region, and a further connection to the Spring Creek Greenway hike and bike trail will continue to offer public health benefits to the surrounding constituents.

 

Alternative Options:

If this request with Quiddity Engineering, LLC is not approved, this project will not be designed and lose grant funding provided by Texas Parks and Wildlife.
