Background and Discussion: This service provides herbicide applications that allow the District to manage invasive species that grow on channels and detention basins. Invasive species shade out seeded grasses the District plants reducing the effectiveness of our turf establishment program and increasing complaints from citizens due to their fast growth and need for more frequent mowing.
Expected Impact: Renewing this contract will allow the District to provide the services needed to support the Districts Herbicide Program
