Background and Discussion:
The County engaged IDCUS, Inc. in 2014, and now seeks IDCUS, Inc., to facilitate the redesign of a standard four (4) lane concrete boulevard in 100-foot ROW with a 32-foot raised median and underground storm sewer system for the updated limits from 500' north of Holderrieth Road to 300' south of Mahaffey Road. The redesign will incorporate the modification of roadside ditches to underground storm sewer with the option of shallow swales behind the curb. At the intersections of Hufsmith-Kohrville Road at Spell Road and Hufsmith-Kohrville Road at Medical Complex Drive, design an upgraded signal to a mast arm and the related pedestrian appurtenances. The redesign is to include a 5-foot-wide sidewalk along the east ROW from the southern limit to Mahaffey Road and along the west ROW from the southern limit to Medical Complex Drive. Drainage will be conveyed via storm sewer to a mid-system detention basin that then outfalls back into a storm sewer system.
