Background and Discussion:

This project is located at Shaw Road in Precinct 3. This project will be improving Shaw Road from south of Westlake Run Blvd to Boudreaux Road. The project will now include sidewalk on both sides throughout the segment. The Consultant will be providing pump detention and associated design, if selected, as a new drainage option.

 

Expected Impact:

This amendment will be proposing the improvement of Shaw Road by providing a 4-lane concrete boulevard with 32” raised median within a 100’ ROW.

 

Alternative Options:

An alternative would be not to construct the other half boulevard of Shaw Road.
