Background and Discussion:

Harris County Peden Building is a complete renovation located at 600 North San Jacinto Street, modernization of three hydraulic passenger elevators and installation of new floodproofing.  This change in contract entails modifications to ductwork and walls, rerouting of conduit, backboxes, exhaust duct, and MEP revisions due to coordination of elevator scope.

 

Expected Impact:

Changes allow the completion of the project in accordance with the original intent of the project.

 

Alternative Options:

Should we not move forward with this change order we would not be able to do modifications to the ductwork and walls, rerouting of conduit, backboxes, exhaust duct, and MEP revisions due to coordination of elevator scope.
