Background and Discussion:
Project includes the construction of Tidwell Road 4-Lane Concrete Boulevard and Replace Greens Bayou Bridge.
Change includes additional time and compensation associated with existing bid item quantity increases as confirmed by the Engineer of Record. Major increased items include constructing detour 8” black base, low profile concrete barrier, temporary SLP shoring, and remove existing water line and temporary waterline (7 days and $132299.75).
Change also includes additional time and compensation for the following new items of work:
• New Type 5 ADA ramp at corner of John Ralston and Tidwell (1 day and $2560.20).
• New concrete bus pads at the request of Precinct 1 and Harris County Transit Authority (2 days, $11157.50).
• Special project signs at the request of Precinct 1 (0 days, $2600.00)
• Roller supports as opposed to flat supports for water line on bridge (0 days, $16264.70)
• Additional concrete driveways (1 day, $6951.79)
• Adjustment of an existing waterline due to conflict with 18" RCP (2 days, $8500)
• Utility conflict with existing AT&T conduits under the bridge (127 days, $0.00).
Expected Impact:
Change allows the additional scope of work to be added to the contract.
