Background and Discussion:

Request from the City of Houston to purchase a water well site on existing County property to replace 3 underperforming water wells, and a permanent access easement that meets City Public Works driveway criteria and serves the County’s long-term interests for potential future development of this site.

 

Expected Impact:

Allows the City of Houston to access and construct a water well and pipeline for their Sims Bayou Water plant project.

 

Alternative Options:

If no action is taken, the City of Houston will not be able to construct a new water well for their Sims Bayou Water plant project.
