Background and Discussion:

The 2018 Harris County Flood Control District Bond Subdivision Program consist of 93 projects. Of those, 80 Projects are Active at this time. On June 8, 2021, Commissioners Court requested that the Office of County Engineer provide a monthly status update on subdivision drainage projects associated with the 2018 Bond Subdivision Program.

Expected Impact:

In implementing the proposed drainage improvements, the 2018 Harris County Flood Control District Bond Subdivision Program seeks to reduce structural flood risk and strengthen resiliency in Harris County by assisting in the alleviation of structural flood damage to the homes in the adjacent community. This will reduce the financial, physical, and emotional burden flood damage places on homeowners and will reduce the financial impact costs to the homeowners, Harris County, and FEMA.
