Background and Discussion:
Under the agreement between Central Houston Civic Improvement, Inc. ("Central Houston") and Harris County, Central Houston will perform economic development services for the encouragement, promotion, improvement, and application of the arts in Harris County. The County agrees to provide funding to Central Houston for the painting of up to eleven (11) different Murals by Street Art for Mankind. Unless otherwise authorized by the County in writing, the maximum amount the County will provide for an individual Mural is Thirty Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($30,000.00).
