Background and Discussion:
On September 11, 2018, Commissioners Court approved an agreement with Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation in the amount of $1,950,000. This first amendment increases compensation and payment from $1,950,000 to $2,530,000. Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation's personnel have extensive experience performing the tasks associated with the Program Management of the Interchange Design and Bid Package preparation. Additional funding is needed to cover a schedule extension that is needed for continued coordination with TxDOT through the SH 225 Preliminary Environmental Linkage Study (PEL).
This contract was awarded with no MWDBE contract goal. Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation has committed to 20% MWDBE participation for this amendment.
