Background and Discussion:
On October 28, 2022, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) executed the FY 2021 Northline CoC Grant Agreement between HUD and Harris County Community Services Department to obligate grant funds for rental assistance and supportive services for up to 60 disabled adults formerly experiencing homelessness. The subrecipient will provide supportive services, to include but not limited to, case management and an annual assessment of service needs.
Expected Impact:
The total CoC grant funding for supportive services is $284,540. The project is expected to benefit up to 60 disabled, formerly chronic homeless persons.
Alternative Options:
No other funding is available to cover the provision of supportive services to this population.
