Background and Discussion:
Harris County Resources for Children and Adults has been the recipient of a VA-Victims of Crime Act Formula Grant Program for six years. This grant is administered by the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division. Funding awarded through this grant has allowed our organization to provide Child and Youth abuse victim services, as well as support services for former foster youth.
Expected Impact:
This grant award will allow Harris County Resources for Children and Adults to continue providing services for child and youth victims. These services include interventions, health and behavioral care, and support services. The award provides budget for personnel, training and travel.
