Background and Discussion:
The proposed pedestrian bridge over west canal (owned by Coastal Water Authority) at Aqueduct Road is to provide the pedestrian, hike and bike connection between Alexander Deussen Park and Eisenhower Park as part of the park trail system. The amendment to increase the fund is needed to address the landscape, lighting, gate and plaza design at both ends of the signature bridge.
Expected Impact: Provide the safe and convenient connection for both pedestrian between two bridges.
