Background and Discussion:
The Veterans Treatment Court program aims to achieve the goal of diverting veterans from the traditional criminal justice system into an alternative to incarceration program addressing their specific needs. The proposed budget includes funds for two Case Managers, to be provided through a sub-recipient agreement with the Harris County Community Supervision & Corrections Department.
