Background and Discussion:

This project will provide pedestrian improvements along Addicks Clodine Road and Westpark Drive that are associated with qualifying neighborhoods (LMI) utilizing CDBG grant funds.  The agreement will allow reimbursement to Harris County for adjustments to existing water and sanitary utilities that are required for concrete sidewalk construction.

Expected Impact:

Allowing Harris County to perform the necessary adjustments to existing water and sanitary utilities will improve constructability and make coordination of the work less complicated.

Alternative Options:

The alternative to the County performing the adjustments and being reimbursed by HCMUD 120 would be to have the County’s contractor coordinate with the MUD’s contractor during construction to make the adjustments.
