Background and Discussion:
Construction Phase Services are required from the design consultant during the construction process. Changes have occurred to the channel since the original survey. Because of this, design input for the impacted areas is required. This amount of change was not anticipated when the original construction phase services effort was estimated.
Expected Impact:
Construction phase services will allow the engineer of record to provide responses to requests for information from the contractor, review submittals, and update to drawings to complete the project within schedule.
