Background and Discussion:
Human Resources & Risk Management recently moved to 1111 Fannin. Parking is necessary for successful operations of Human Resources & Risk Management. The facility will have an estimated total seat count of between 2,063 and 2,898; however, there are approximately only 470 parking spaces available in the building. The attached agreement is for vouchers (“chaser tickets”) to be used by employees including contract employees who work a hybrid remote schedule.
Expected Impact:
The additional spaces will alleviate a shortage of parking available at 1111 Fannin once the building is fully occupied. The cost to lease a parking space at the 1101 Fannin garage is $165 per month. The use of a voucher is a lower cost option for those employees working a hybrid remote schedule.
