Background and Discussion:
This project is on-call contract for various asphalt related work at various locations within Precinct 3.
Change includes reconciliation of actual quantities used in construction with the estimated quantities included for bidding purposes. Change also includes additional time be added to this project to allow for coordination with adjacent work being performed by a developer contractor at this same location.
• Time due to coordinate with other work (another a turn lane) being placed by a development company at the same time. This coordination required changes to staging as well as modification the traffic control. ($0.00) - 23 DAYS
• Major reduced items include ROADWAY EXCAVATION, PRIME COAT FOR BASE COARSE, HMAC TACK COAT, HMAC TYPE D SURFACE COARSE, 6” MONILITHIC CURB, REFLCECTORIZED PAVMENT MARKERS.
• Major increased items include REMOVING OLD CONCRETE PAVMENT, REMOVE AND RELOCATE TRAFFIC SIGNS, ADJUST INLETS AND MANHOLES, HOT MIX ASPHALTIC CONCRETE BASE, CEMENT SAND STABILIZED SUBGRADE, INSTALL SIDEWALK, and TRAFFIC CONTROL.
Expected Impact:
Change allows unused funds to be returned to the Precinct and allow the Contractor to be compensated for actual work performed. Change also allows the contractor to coordinate with adjacent developer work without penalty.

Increase the scope of the project to utilize the unused funds.
