Background and Discussion:
On 1/8/2019, Commissioners Court approved the appointment by Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo of two hearing examiner positions to consider appeals and variances pursuant to the: (1) Regulations of Harris County, Texas Regarding Location of Communications Facility Structures, effective January 15, 2010; and (2) Regulations of Harris County for the Placement of Signs Visible from the Main-Traveled Way of a Toll Road within Harris County, Texas, effective January 1, 2010. Judge Hidalgo subsequently appointed Kathryn M. Kase, Legal Counsel to the Harris County Judge, as the Hearing Examiner for both positions, and now transmits notice of Ms. Kase’s re-appointment as Hearing Examiner for both positions.
