Background and Discussion:
This change in contract is needed for extensions to items for small overruns and for added scope. Additional riprap was added at the outfall for Southbelt basin to prevent erosion, storm manhole quantity was increased to cover the original scope of work, street sweeping quantity was increased to cover actual time utilized, and a pipe gate was added at the Dagg Road entrance to help secure the Rev. Lawson Basin site adjacent to Adair Park.

Expected Impact:
This RCA is required to complete the District construction contract under the original or needed revised scope.

Alternative Options:
This is an active construction contract, so there are not many alternatives to approving a change order other than cancelling the contract which is not recommended as doing so would substantially delay the remaining work in the construction contract.
