Background and Discussion:

The purpose of this change is to adjust existing contract pay item quantities to reconcile for final payment. The final survey resulted in adjusting the Excavation and Offsite Disposal and Cement Stabilized Sand. The remaining balance of several items is being reduced to offset the proposed increases resulting in net $0 change.

Expected Impact:

This RCA is required to complete the District construction contract under the original or needed revised scope.

Alternative Options:

This is an active construction contract, so there are not many alternatives to approving a change order other than cancelling the contract which is not recommended as doing so would substantially delay the remaining work in the construction contract.

Alignment with Goal(s):

_ Justice and Safety

_ Economic Opportunity

_ Housing

_ Public Health

_ Transportation

X Flooding

_ Environment

_ Governance and Customer Service
