Background and Discussion:

 

Reconstruction of Asphaltic Concrete Pavement along Kuykendahl, Tanner and West Little York Road.

 

Expected Impact:

 

Reconstructing these areas will improve pavement conditions thereby improving mobility and safety for all road users.  This purchase order will allow the firm to conduct field and laboratory testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, and various other construction materials.

 

Alternative Options:

 

Construction materials testing is required by state law. Thus, alternatives include executing an agreement for similar services to a different vendor or cancelling this construction project.
