Background and Discussion:
Harris County Veterinary Public Health receives monetary donations over the counter from visitors to the shelter and the pet wellness clinic and via online web transactions.
Expected Impact:
The approval of these monetary donations will allow Harris County Veterinary Public Health to help pet owners that are in need of pet food, vaccinations, pet supplies, and more for their pets. As for the animals in our care, donations help with foster, transport, and adoption programs to find these animals temporary and eventually permanent homes.
Alternative Options:
If Court chooses to not approve these donations, they will be refunded to the donors.
