Background and Discussion:
On April 27, 2021, Commissioner’s Court authorized the purchase of the 1111 Fannin building for use to consolidate county operations into a single location. As part of the 1101 Fannin Parking Garage project, Commissioners Court must declare the public necessity to acquire said parking garage for the purpose of providing additional parking for 1111 Fannin.
Expected Impact:
Acquisition of the property will allow for additional employee and visitor parking at the 1111 Fannin location.

No action will result in inadequate parking for the 1111 Fannin location.
