Background and Discussion:

The northern bank of the Buffalo Bayou, from Jensen Drive to the Union Pacific Rail Line just upstream of Jensen Drive, was significantly compromised after Hurricane Harvey.  With the eroding bank, a trail has also collapsed.  This is for the request to amend the existing interlocal agreement (Agreement 2020-100) with Buffalo Bayou Partnership to include contribution of funds to stabilize this portion of Buffalo Bayou.

Expected Impact:

Reinforcing the bank will prevent future erosion of the bank, and allow BBP to restore the trail link in the area.

Alternative Options:

Without taking action, further erosion is likely, leading to additional problems, including conveyance issues.
