Background and Discussion:

After the initial design phase, the County and landlord of 4101 Interwood North Parkway have mutually agreed on relocating the designated secured parking areas and inspection areas. This Amendment will formalize the agreement prior to construction.

Expected Impact:

This amendment modifies the existing exhibits to allow for more favorable locations to the County for the secured parking area and an inspection area necessary for VCD’s operations. The revised areas will allow for easier access to more frequent and larger tow trucks and will make the operation more efficient overall. Additionally, the secured parking area will be further from large power poles which increases safety for County employees and increases access in the event of an emergency.

Alternative Options:

The alternative option is to keep the locations the same which would result in lower efficiency and present a higher safety risk.
