Background and Discussion:

Telge Road is a 4-lane divided concrete boulevard that intersects the US 290 Frontage Road to the north and south. There is an existing dedicated southbound left turn lane, shared thru-left, and thru lane at the intersection. The existing intersection experiences significant congestion during morning and evening peak hours.

Expected Impact:

The project will address traffic volumes and improve the overall safety of the intersection.

Alternative Options:

The alternative is to leave the intersection as-is and continue to cause traffic congestion to the public.

Alignment with Goal(s):

_ Justice and Safety

_ Economic Opportunity

_ Housing

_ Public Health

X Transportation

_ Flooding

_ Environment

_ Governance and Customer Service
