Background and Discussion:

The County engaged R.G. Miller Engineers, Inc. in 2020 and initiated a professional services agreement on May 19, 2020, and now seeks an amendment with R.G. Miller Engineers, Inc. to facilitate the study and design changes associated with the updated scope requested by the County. R.G. Miller Engineers, Inc. is qualified to perform these professional services.

 

Expected Impact:

This amendment proposes to revise the proposed roadway, revise drainage calculations & report, and add sidewalk along the corridor. The project will address increase connectivity, address current and future traffic volumes, reduce delays, and provide safe mobility for residents, pedestrians, and drivers.

 

Alternative Options:

The alternative would be to not update the roadway alignment, drainage, or add new sidewalk along the corridor.
