Background and Discussion: The County seeks to facilitate the re-design of the roadway extension of Birnam Wood Boulevard, from 450' north of Hickorygate Drive to south of J109-01-01. Upgrading the existing roadway from a 2-lane concrete half boulevard section to a 4-lane concrete curb and gutter boulevard with 32' raised median and improved drainage.
Expected Impact: The project will improve the roadway and drainage conditions within this segment of Birnam Wood Boulevard.
Alternative Options: If no action is taken, the project may experience delays in improving the roadway and drainage in the area.
