Background and Discussion:

Due to growth over the years, Old Town Spring has experienced an increase in traffic and pedestrian activity. To ensure that this demand is adequately addressed, a high-level traffic and pedestrian study, to include public outreach efforts, is needed to determine recommended improvements.

Expected Impact:

The study will provide recommendations for traffic and pedestrian improvements on County maintained roadways, while taking into consideration the culture of Old Town Spring. These improvements will take into consideration safety and added efficiencies related to traffic and pedestrian activity.

Alternative Options:

Without a study and recommended improvements, the increase in traffic and pedestrian demand within Old Town Spring could negatively impact experiences within the area for the community, businesses, and visitors.
