Background and Discussion:

The Planning Division requires a firm with MAAPNext modeling experience to provide on-call hydrology and hydraulic services to support ongoing and future activities.  Contract will be $400,000.

Expected Impact:

This on-call hydrology and hydraulic services contract will allow for the prime engineering firm to support ongoing Planning Division projects and work efforts.  This contract will allow the H&H contractor to provide independent QA/QC reviews of ongoing projects, to provide MAAPNext training for Planning Division project managers, to conduct assessments of mobility connection for feasibility projects, and quick turnaround H&H analyses and modeling on an as needed basis.

Alternative Options:

The alternative is to not approve this agreement and seek the services of another consultant which will delay progress.
