Background and Discussion:

This grant includes funding for Project Management/Outreach activities for the MAAPnext project. These activities remain necessary for the duration of the MAAPnext project. The maximum period of performance allowed for our initial application was 3 years, and the maximum Period of Performance extension allowed in a single amendment is 1 year. All other tasks related to this grant have been completed, so remaining budget is requested to be reallocated to Project Management/Outreach.

Expected Impact:

The Harris County Flood Control District would be allowed to utilize awarded grant funds for Project Management & Outreach activities.

Alternative Options:

The Harris County Flood Control District would lose access to awarded grant funds available for Project Management & Outreach activities, and these activities would be limited by a reduced budget.
