Background and Discussion:
This grant provides partial funding for the replacement of two shuttle buses with cleaner burning buses. Due to supply chain delays, an extension is required to complete the purchase of the new buses and the disposition of the old buses.
Expected Impact:
This grant amendment will enable the Sheriff’s Office to complete all grant activities.
Alternative Options:
Not accepting this amendment would result in the forfeiture of grant funds, since completion of the project has been delayed by global macroeconomic issues.
