Background and Discussion:
This planning project will create a master plan for improvements in the 35-acre Burnett Bayland Park at Chimney Rock Road and Gulfton Street in Precinct 4. The master plan will provide recommendations for improving amenities, programming, and connectivity in the park to better serve the recreational and open space needs of the community.

Expected Impact:
The goal of this master planning effort is to improve the overall aesthetics of the parkland and provide opportunities for active and passive recreational activities for all community members. This master plan will provide the precinct a design for proposed park redevelopment and improvements with probable construction costs. This will facilitate the precinct in phased implementation and funding for park development, as necessary.
