Background and Discussion:
This is an existing maintenance on-call contract for preventative, reactive and alteration related services and materials of various projects, which will expire September 2022. A new contract was bid and under review. Due to time constraints, it is recommended to extend the current contract to allow more time to review the new contract bid documents prior to award. The additional time will also assure that there isn’t a lapse in response times due to the reactive maintenance aspect of the contract.
Expected Impact:
Continuation of services for preventative, reactive and alteration related services to ensure proper operation.
Alternative Options:
Alternative option is to wait for the new contract to be awarded on the next court date, however, this may result in lapse of maintenance.
