Request for approval to renew an Interlocal agreement with Spring Branch Independent School District for the period of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. This renewal agreement is for five Youth Service Specialists to provide services that are currently not available through the district. The District agrees to reimburse the County an annual standard fee of $42,088 per Youth Service Specialist which represents one-half of the total personnel and mileage cost for each position.

Background and Discussion: Harris County Resources for Children and Adults - Community Youth Services "CYS" Program provides voluntary services to students and families who are in crisis, within 13 surrounding school districts in Harris County. CYS provides direct services and referrals to youth and families that are not available through the District. The districts reimburse Harris County for 50% of the cost of each position. HCRCA has had this agreement with Spring Branch Independent School District for over 25 years.
